Park Map: Sandy Bottom Nature Park is Hampton's
premier park consisting of a 456 acre environmental education and wildlife management facility. Born from borrow pits and
garbage dumps, the park is truly a success story of reclamation of our natural resources. Miles of interconnecting trails
provide area runners with a variety of surfaces and scenic views. Click here for map. The 24-Hour relay run consists of a loop beginning at the picnic pavilion at Sandy Bottom Lake, running out along Trillium
Trail (green), turning onto Otey Shelton Trail (yellow), and back
onto Trillium to return to the start. Each loop is 3.75 miles.

Minding Our Manners: Special thanks to the city of Hampton
and Sandy Bottom Nature Park for hosting our race for the 6th year! Remember we are guests of the park and that other, non-runners,
will be out enjoying the park during the race. Please be aware of and adhere to park rules regarding parking and camping. We
strive to leave the park and facilites just as we found them.
