Where is the race held?
The race begins
and ends at the parking lot of the Matteson Trail in Hampton, VA. This is the site of the Hampton Aquatic Club and Teen Center,
300 Butler Farm Road. Click on the link below to view a map and driving directions.

I'm here for the Costume Contest! Runners are encouraged to run in costume! After all it is Halloween! If you would like to part of the costume contest,
simply show up at the registration table by 8:30 where we will do the judging at 8:45.
What time does the race start?
The 5k fun run starts at 9AM
and the chute will remain open until 10:10AM.

Can I register on race day morning?
Yes,
you may register on race day morning beginning at 7AM. But the awesome long sleeved t-shirts are only guaranteed to the
first 300 runners. We don't want you to miss out on of these, so be sure to register early.
What is the Race Route?
The race route
is the Matteson Trail, a paved, winding trail that circles the Hamptons Golf Course. The route is free of traffic.
Are there mile markers? Yes, there will
be mile markers, spooky decorations, and some sweet incentives for the kiddies along the way.
Are there awards?
Yes, there are awards
for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K. Additionally, there are awards for the top three runners in each age
group in the 5K. Age groups are: 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+. Awards will
be announced as soon as possible following each race. Runners must be present to receive awards. If you are unable
to stay to receive your award, please contact the race director. Sorry, due to shipping costs, we are unable to mail any
uncollected awards without prepayment.
Scoring: Scoring is provided by the Peninsula Track Club. Results will be posted on this site as soon as they are made
